RECRUITMENT OF 1000 ASSISTANTS  & 362 ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER SCALE I

National Insurance Company Ltd. invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Assistants in Class III cadre, Administrative Officer Gr I from open market.

The tentative schedule of events is as follows:-

Online Examination Various dates: in April 2015
Download of Call Letters for Examination: 10 days prior to the date of examination

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ASSISTANTS POST: 

AGE (as on30thNovember, 2014)
Minimum Age:18 years; Maximum Age:28 years(as on 30.11.2014). Candidates born not earlier than 1stDecember1986 and not laterthan30th November1996 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. The upper age limit will be relaxed for reserved candidates as per gov norms.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Graduate from a recognized University OR Pass in HSC/Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex-servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities);and the candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level; and Knowledge of Regional Language i.e. Language of the State of Recruitment is essential.Proficiency in the Regional Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/write and speak the Regional Language of the State/UT), for whose vacancies a candidate wishes to apply, is preferable. (Some questions may be put at the time of interview to ascertain the candidate‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State/UT).

SELECTION PROCEDURE
All eligible candidates should apply before the last date for registration of application.
All candidates will have to appear f or the online examination, thereafter; candidates will be shortlisted and will be called for Interview and Computer  Proficiency Test.Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online examination, Interview and Computer Proficiency  taken together. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for Online examination/Computer Proficiency Test/Interview.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR OFFICER POST:

Age as on 30.11.2014  Minimum
Age: 21 years    Maximum Age: 30 years, as on 30.11.2014 i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 1.12.1984 and not later than 30.11.1993 (both dates inclusive), Relaxation as per rule.

Educational Qualification (as on 30.11.2014) 
Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 30.11.2014.  For Generalist Stream, a candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.  For Specialist Stream a candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

The minimum Educational Qualifications required for various disciplines are: 

1  Finance  Minimum Qualification  Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)/ M.COM/  B.COM 
2 Automobile Engineering  B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering 
3 Information Technolog y B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology
4  Legal  Graduate in Law. 
5 Generalist  Graduate in any stream.
