Bokaro steel plant under the governance of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), is inviting applications from Indian nationals for recruitment to the following posts of Attendant cum Technician (ACT) trainees.

The details are as follows:

Attendant cum Technician Trainee:

Vacancy:
132 Posts; (General: 43 Posts SC: 23 Posts, ST: 53 Posts, OBC: 13 Posts);
Age Limit:
Candidates upper age limit is 28 years as on 01-12-2014 (Age relaxation is applicable as per GOI rules);
Qualification:
Candidates must possess Matriculation and passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Govt of India after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an integrated steel plant.

Operations cun Technician Trainee:
Vacancy: 110nos
Qualification: Matriculation, 3year Poly Diploma
Age: 18-28 (Relaxation as per rule)

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Test and Interview.

ELIGIBILITY:
Age: Minimum 18 yrs. & Maximum 28 yrs. as on 01/01/2013

Essential Qualification:
For the Post of ACT (Trainee)
ITI holders -Matriculation with ITI from recognized institution in any of the following trades: Fitter, Mason, Welder, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Computer Operator Programming Assistant, Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Draftsman.

For HVD Trade- Matriculation with Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) License having one year experience in Operation of Tipper.
For the Post of OCT (Trainee)
Diploma holders- Matriculation with Diploma in Engineering from recognized institution in any of the following trades: - Metallurgy, Civil, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical/Mechtronics, Refractory/Ceramic, Electronic, Chemical and Instrumentation Candidates having the prescribed qualification as given above can apply against the respective posts and Trade / Discipline.

Training Period: The selected candidates will be placed on training for the initial period of two years.

ACT: 8,600/-(p.m) during 1st year and `10,000/- p.m. during 2nd year will be paid.

OCT: 10,700/-p.m. during 1st year and ` 12,200/- p.m. during 2nd year will be paid.

After successful completion candidates will be regularized in the regular grade/ pay scale.
