Minimum Educational Qualifications :The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limits :
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August, 2014 (ie between 1982-1993) (age relaxation as per rule).

Fee:

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH Candidates who are exempted from pay- ment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only)

All female candidates and candidates belonging Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Handicapped
categories are exempted from payment of fee.

A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Grade IV of the Services held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from 1st December 2012 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation in the Gazette of India dated the 1st September, 2012.

Age Limits :

 A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2012, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1st August, 1991. (Relaxation as per rule)

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

A candidate for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Postgraduate degree in  Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Econometrics and a candidate for the

FEE :

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/ PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money

in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
