Application Fee:

 INR 100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; The fee excepting Female/ SC / ST / PH Candidates. The payment can be made either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/Sate Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. If Candidates admitted to the Main Examination will be required to pay a further fee of INR 200/-.

CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAMINATION:

The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admission certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Commission take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test.

Minimum Educational Qualifications :The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limits :
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1983 and not later than 1st August, 1992. (age relaxation as per rule)

Fee:

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH Candidates who are exempted from pay- ment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only)

All female candidates and candidates belonging Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Handicapped
categories are exempted from payment of fee.

A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Grade IV of the Services held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from 1st December 2012 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation in the Gazette of India dated the 1st September, 2012.

Age Limits :

 A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2012, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1st August, 1991. (Relaxation as per rule)

UPSC INVITE APPLICATION FOR INDIAN FOREST SERVICE

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

A competitive examination for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service will be held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from the 14th July, 2012 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in the Gazette of India dated the  14th April, 2012.

Minimum Educational Qualifications :

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects

namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,  Botany, Chemistry, Geology,

Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possesses an equivalent qualification.

3. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :

(i) Nationality :

A candidate must be either :-

(a) A citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over

to India before 1st

 January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, SriLanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of  Tanzania,  Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with  the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a

person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility   has been issued   by t h e Government of India.A candidate, in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.

(ii) Age Limits :

(a) A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the

age of 30 years on 1st August, 2012, i.e. he/ she must have been born not earlier than

2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1^st August, 1991.

(b) The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable as per rule
