Application Fee:

 INR 100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; The fee excepting Female/ SC / ST / PH Candidates. The payment can be made either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/Sate Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. If Candidates admitted to the Main Examination will be required to pay a further fee of INR 200/-.

CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAMINATION:

The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admission certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Commission take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test.

SCRA NOTIFICATION BY UPSC IN INDIAN RAILWAY

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for conducting Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination , 2015 to select candidates for the appointment as Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 11-10-2014 to 07-11-2014 by 11:59 PM.

Name of the Exam: SCRA Exam 2015

Age Limit:

Candidate should have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years on 01-01-2015
i.e candidates should have born not earlier than 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-1998.
Age relaxations are applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by Govt of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects

Selection Process:
Candidates are selected based on Written Examination & Interview.

Application Fee:

EXAMINATION NOTICE NO. 04/2013-CSP DATED 5.03.2013
(LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: 4/04/2013)

Minimum Educational Qualifications :The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limits :
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1983 and not later than 1st August, 1992. (age relaxation as per rule)

Fee:

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH Candidates who are exempted from pay- ment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only)

All female candidates and candidates belonging Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Handicapped
categories are exempted from payment of fee.
