Direct Recruitment to the cadre of Multi-Tasking Staff

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in the following Postal/Railway Mail Service Divisions/Other Units in Tamilnadu Circle in the pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800 + admissible allowances.

Total Vacancy: 277

Pay Scale: Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 + admissible allowances.  

Age limit: 18-27 years (Relaxation as per rule)

Educational Qualification required:
For Administrative offices : Matriculation or Equivalent or ITI from recognized Boards.
For Subordinate offices : Matriculation or ITI from recognized Boards.

Period of Probation: Two years.
 

Candidates will be subjected to an Aptitude Test (Multiple Choice Questions) of the level of 10th class/Matriculation covering the following subjects/topics: GK, English, Mathematics and Regional language

Application Fee: Rs. 25/- mandatory for all candidates

Examination Fee : Rs. 175/-

DIRECT RECRUITMENT OF POSTAL ASSISTANTS/SORTING ASSISTANTS / POSTAL ASSISTANTS (SAVINGS BANK CONTROL ORGANIZATION)-Kerala Circle:

Notification No. RECTT/4-3/2011/II dated at Thiruvananthapuram 33, the 11th August 2012

Total Vacancies: 180

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 2400 + admissible allowance.

Age Limit: 18-27 years (Relaxation as per rule)

Educational Qualification: (i) 10 +2 Standard or 121h Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above, from any recognized University/Board of School Education, Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject (excluding vocational streams) for OC candidates, 55 % and above for Other Backward Classes and 45% and above for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes shall apply.

Should have studied local language of the State or Union Territory of the Postal Circle concerned or Hindi as a subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.

Pattern of Examination:-

Aptitude Test (Paper-I)  for 100 Marks

Computer/ Typing Test (Paper-II)

Cost of Application Form: The Application Form is sold at a Price of Rs. 50 and the sale will be through All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. The sale will commence from 11-08-2012 and last date for sale closes on 25-09-2012

Examination Fee: The Applicants have to pay the prescribed Examination fee of Rs. 200 and it should be deposited in an identified Post Office of this circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt. ALL FEMALE CANDIDTES AND APPLICANTS BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE/SCHEDULED TRIBE /PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CATEGORIES ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE. No excemption for OBC (should pay)

Mode of despatch: The Applications duly filled in along with original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-110001" through SPEED POST/REGISTERED POST OF INDIA POST only. The Applications received through Courier or delivered in person will not be accepted.

Last date for receipt of Applications by the Recruitment agency is fixed as 01-10-2012
