Cochin Shipyard Limited, a Mini Ratna Company of Government of India, proposes induction of
ITI Trade Apprentices for one / two years training as stipulated under the Apprentices Act 1961 in
the following trades:-

Total 360
Qualification:
Pass in SSLC and ITI
(NCVT) certificate in the respective trade securing minimum of 60% of marks from a recognised ITI.
Stipend
During the one year training period candidates selected as Apprentices will be paid a
consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 3000/- during the first year and 4000/- during the second
year as applicable. The above rates will be effective from 01 Oct 2012. No other allowances will
be paid during the period of Apprenticeship training.
Age
Age 18 to 25 years as on 31 Aug 2012.
