Age:

Age as on 31 Jan 2013 shall not exceed 35 years, relaxable by 3  years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for   Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and 45 years or the period of military ervice plus three years in the case of Ex-servicemen.  Further relaxation of age will be granted in  reserving cases who have experience of working in Shipyards.

How to Apply:

Candidates meeting the requirements notified shall submit application through online from 15 Feb 2013 and the facility can be accessed through our  website www.cochinshipyard.com.  Application submitted in any other mode will not be accepted.

Candidates should apply through online only and application once submitted shall be final. Candidates should not apply for more than one post. The website will remain functional for the purpose from 15 Feb 2013 to 11 Mar 2013.

ITI Trade Apprentices for one / two years training as stipulated under the Apprentices Act 1961 in
the following trades:-

Qualification:
Pass in SSLC and ITI
(NCVT) certificate in the respective trade securing minimum of 60% of marks from a recognised ITI.

Stipend
During the one year training period candidates selected as Apprentices will be paid a
consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 3000/- during the first year and 4000/- during the second
year as applicable. The above rates will be effective from 01 Oct 2012. No other allowances will
be paid during the period of Apprenticeship training.
Age
Age 18 to 25 years as on 31 Aug 2012.
