POWERGRID, A leading Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India and one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the world has been entrusted with establishing and strengthening Optical fibre connectivity to the Gram Panchayats under National Optical Fibre Network Project (NOFN).

Invite application for following post on contract basis to Andhra pradesh:

1. Field Engineer (on Temporary Contract Basis)

Vacancies: 52

Essential Qualification:

B.E/ B.Tech/ B.SC(Engg)/ AMIE in Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 55% marks.

2. Field Supervisor (on Temporary Contract Basis)

Vacancies: 108

Essential Qualification:
Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks.

Upper Age Limit as on 28.02.2013: 29 years (Relaxation as per rule)
Field experience required for all post. (see notification)

The selection will be on the basis of Personal Interview

Contract personnel will be paid consolidated monthly remuneration as under:
Field Engineer: 1st year Rs.30,000/-, 2nd Year Rs.33,000/-
Field Supervisor: 1st yearRs. 23,000/-, 2nd YearRs. 25,500/-

Non-Refundable Application Fee:
1 Field Engineer (CFE) Rs. 200/-
2 Field Supervisor (CFS) Rs. 100/-
